Ofsted Report
Our latest Ofsted inspection was on the 10th and 11th June 2025.
Our Inspectors praised our Academy as a “welcoming school” where “positive relationships are at the heart of the school’s work”
Our children were commended for their curiosity, interest in learning, politeness, happiness, “positive attitudes” and their approach to responsibilities. It was especially encouraging to read that pupils feel safe and cared for, saying “our teachers support us if we need help in our lessons or with absolutely anything else in our life.”
While the children’s love of reading was particularly recognised in the report, the inspection scrutinised all our core teaching, particularly maths and writing and many other subjects finding the school to have a “well sequenced” curriculum that provides a good quality of education.
The school’s work to provide personal development alongside the academic environment was deemed to be “exceptional”, as was how our children demonstrated the importance of “respect and tolerance”. Although not mentioned in the report verbal feedback praised the school’s music curriculum as quite remarkable. The range of opportunities we offer, including experiences of career education and those that prepare children for life in modern Britain, enabled an outstanding judgment in this area.
We greatly appreciate your on-going support. Together, we will continue to enable all our children to “Aspire to Achieve”, reaching high and dreaming big.
