Lincoln Castle
Year 6 had the exciting opportunity to visit Lincoln Castle last week in order to find out more about crime and punishment during the Victorian period. They had the chance to walk along the castle walls whilst learning plenty of facts about the punishments that people used to receive. The children were also taken into a Victorian prison where they got to see the conditions of which people had to live in.
The children also went off to take part in various activities. The activites included a Prison Escape Game based on a prisoner who managed to escape twice! We then went off on a Prison Tour and Chore and then to the Chapel. The children also went on a Crime and Punishment Wall Tour of the castle. An enjoyable day for everyone involved and an experience for all.
