Foundation Stage – Growing and Life Cycles Topic

In the Foundation Unit we have been learning about growing and lifecycles, discussing the changes that occur.

And what better way to learn than to witness this experience with your own eyes!!

We bought some caterpillars, fed them and watched them grow and spin their cocoons and metamorphose into butterflies.

We then enjoyed setting them free into the environment.
