On Wednesday 27th June, Year 3 took a trip to Magna Science Museum near Rotherham to consolidate their science knowledge.
They explored the 4 pavilions and took part in a practical workshop. The 4 pavilions were Earth, Air, Fire and Water.
They had great fun exploring how these elements help us, how they are created and what they can be used for.
They were also able to manipulate the elements to create different effects, sounds and results.
The practical workshop was called ‘Rocks and Volcanoes.’ The year 3 children were able to classify different rocks based on their properties and made an exploding volcano to show how different igneous rocks are made.
